Many of these individuals are dealing with several contributing and serious health issues, such as obesity and high blood pressure, while others are facing serious organ damage and significant risk of stroke, heart attack, or even death.
Moreover, the factors leading to chronic disease are often rooted in lifestyles and habits, which are passed on to younger generations, thus continuing a complicated cycle of health. In August 2020, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health noted that 92% of COVID-19-related deaths were among those with underlying health conditions, the most common being hypertension and diabetes. Our communities didn’t stand a chance at successfully combating a virus that preyed on those in vulnerable health.

Patients are encouraged and assisted in visiting our centers for basic health maintenance on a routine basis.
